LAKESIDE OASIS"CAMP BYRNES ON OAKLEY"

Come and relax lakeside on the beautiful Eastern shore of Lake George. Nestled in the mixed hardwoods & tall pines is this 'old time' but newly renovated Lake George cabin. This cabin is located on a dead-end street and has a very quiet atmosphere. The waterfront consists of 107' with it's own private swimming beach / cove (perfect for kids!). There are (2) 45' docks that can be used to fish off of or to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening at sunset. Being on the eas …t side of the lake looking west produces the most gorgeous sunsets. The property has plenty of room for lawn games, barbecuing and camp fires at night. Bring your kayak or canoe to paddle around and explore the shoreline.

The cabin renovation in 2023 made way for a new kitchen (cabinets, flooring, appliances etc.) and bathroom (shower, water closet, vanity). The (3) bedrooms (1 king size, 1 full size and 2 twin size beds) were newly painted, new ceiling fans and freshly stripped and re-finished wide-plank wood flooring to keep the 'cabin feel'. The living room has (2) large couches and has a table and chairs for family meals. It has a TV with DVD player and internet throughout. The front porch is the best for last - it allows for relaxing indoors but being able to see out and enjoy all the views the lake has to offer. The windows in the front porch were replaced and allow for the cool lakeside summer breezes. There is a gas grill on the property for grilling out.

The property is located approximately 15-20 min drive to Lake George Village and has immediate access to many great restaurants. It is situated directly across from Long Island which is a state camping island and is mid-way between the Village of Bolton Landing & Village of Lake George. The Buck Mountain wilderness trailhead is about a 10 minute drive and so is the Pilot Knob Preserve trailhead. The Prospect Mountain trailhead is about a 20 minute drive. There is the Town of Fort Ann beach located about 10 minutes as well. The world renown Saratoga Horse Racing Track is approximately 45 mins away. Some historical points of Lake George can be witnessed at nearby at Fort William Henry or Fort Ticonderoga.

“What a relaxing 3 days we spent here. I cant say enough about the view, especially at sunset. Being on the east side of the lake meant we were away from the commercial side of Lake George. This made it quite peaceful.The cottage itself was complete in every way. Everything we needed was there, we really didnt lack anything. There was a very cozy atmosphere inside. It was a great stay and look forward to returning next year.”

“Awesome weeklong rental and experience. Still pretty excited about it and our rental was nearly a month ago. It was very special for us. The cabin is authentic and well appointed, while updated, convenient and very well maintained/managed. On par with some of the best rentals we have participated in, and we rent a lot. From the host's gracious welcome, to our smooth departure, we could not have asked for more. Many thanks to the owner, manager, and caretakers!! ”

“My family, 4 adults, 2 toddlers, had an amazing time . The cottage was perfect! The front porch looking out to the lake was awesome. Great for swimming from the beach and the dock. Nice area for walking with the kids. The owner was easily accessible and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. Looking forward to staying again. ”

“Our family had a fabulous week at the Oasis! The 3 bedroom camp has a big living area and comfortable beds. The beach area was perfect for our 5 Year old grandson. The view is amazing, especially the sunsets! Owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs.”
