“Dan, his mom and I plus our 2 dogs have been coming to this camp for 5 years and love it here. Dan loves to go out at the crack of dawn to go fishing off the dock. There is a lot of wildlife going by the camp at all ours of the day. There are Loons plus the Osprey nests. The dogs love the water and our walks along the lake. Dan takes the boat out occasionally for some trolling and sightseeing. He always does catch and release, he says its fun fighting to get them to shore. Short ride to town for firewood, pizza, beer and other necessities. At night if the weather allows we have a nice fire. We have seen a grey fox run by a few times in the evening some deer, snapping turtles, plus the loons, osprey and heron. One early morning while walking the dogs I saw a few otters. So cool. We will be back. The owner Christine is an awesome host and has been doing a lot of improvements.”

“My son and I just spent a week at this house on a fishing trip. House was a very nice size and very clean, could easily fit another 4 people comfortably. Lake Abanakee is right across the street and its a great fishing lake. . Pike, bass, panfish all over the place. We used inflatable fishing paddleboards with pacmotors and they were perfect for fishing there, but They have kayaks and a canoe if you dont want to pack your own boats :) My son and I both enjoyed our trip, hosts were great, and i think we'll be back again next year! :) ”

“A beautiful rental that simply takes your breath away! Super clean, great location and the hosts are amazing! We didnt have any issues but the hosts did rwach out to make sure everything was as expected and if there was anything we needed. The views are spectacular, second to none. Beautiful Lake Abanakee at your doorstep. Camp fire by night and coffee in the morning with the best views. Amazing price for gorgeous accommodations, central to so much as well. Just a short drive to weekend farmers markets, season appropriate activities and local eateries. Much to do or even just as to relax, recharge and reset. The locals are super friendly as well. All the amenities in itself , location and price point - We will definitely be back! ”
