Walking down among the pine trees to the cozy and rustic 3-bedroom 2-bathroom lakefront cabin in the cove, you are immediately welcomed onto the deck with shimmering views overlooking pristine Long Lake! Make lifetime memories with your family and friends while swimming, relaxing, reading, or sunbathing on the private beach. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the deck as the fog rises and the lake begins to wake up! Then celebrate each fun day with a happy hour on the …deck or a nice dinner while taking in the breathtaking sunset views across the lake and mountains to the west. In the evening, settle in and enjoy relaxing around the fire pit on the beach with family and friends or unwind inside with a few logs in the wood burning stove.

Note that rentals also include high speed internet / WiFi service. In addition, the private beach area and lake are accessible via the latched gates on the deck. The water is very shallow directly off the beach. More pictures of the beach and lake area and some additional pictures inside will be posted soon.

The town of Long Lake is about 1 mile north from the cabin. Be sure to stop and shop at the country store in town!!!
Buttermilk falls is about 4 miles south of the cabin and less than a 5 minute easy flat hike in from where you can park.

By the end of your stay you will not want to leave the "Sunset Cabin in the Cove"!!!

Cleaning Policy: Cleaning is included in the rental fee, but we do ask that our guests leave the cabin neat by following the checkout checklist included with the contract and posted at the house. This includes stripping the beds, sweeping floors, emptying the refrigerator/freezer, cleaning and putting dishes away, and returning any pillows, furniture, or amenities to the original place they were found upon arrival. Please pull linens from beds and leave all linens and any towels used by the washing machine. All garbage and recycling must be removed and brought to the town transfer station. A temporary permit will be included in the welcome packet. Charges for any cleaning other than what is normally expected will be deducted from your deposit. A vacuum is provided to keep the floors tidy.

Linen Policy: Linens, bath towels and beach towels are included in the rental price.

Security Deposit Information: $500.00 security deposit required
$200 dog fee, if approved
The security deposit will be refunded upon a no-damage assessment. Please allow 30 days from the move-out date for the security deposit to be refunded. The security deposit is forfeited with rental cancellation, but will be returned if another rental is booked by someone else for the same days. Dates are not guaranteed until a signed rental agreement, security deposit, and any other applicable fees are received by the owner.
