Now enough of what ChatGPT says. I am going to share with you the reason why we own this property in the first place. We wanted a place to escape, but close enough to civilization when we needed to get medicine for the kids, or a good meal because we didn't feel like cooking. When you come around the bend, you are transported to a different world. Leave the hustle and bustle behind. If you want civilization, you are a 2-minute car ride back to the main road, where you will find Walmart, Outlets, Miniature golf galore, a Drive-In Movie Theater, or Great Escape Adventure. Drive 10 minutes into Lake George and enjoy all it has to offer or the opposite direction and go to Glens Falls for lovely dining and a walk around town. It is also a short walk to the Warren County Bikeway/walking trail.BUT Martha's Dandee Cream.. Remember to order a child's size because anything bigger than that should be illegal! So maybe, just maybe, your kids will put down those electronics and explore nature and have some fun...before they start to complain again! Our home is set back from the lake over a private road. The very large, grassy beach lot is ours. It has shared lake access. Bring lawn games to play on the lot or up at the house. Everyone you may bump into is kind and friendly. Don't be surprised if someone down by the lake says hello! If you are looking for a quiet family escape or just a relaxing time, then this place is for you. Whether you're relaxing on the deck with a book or exploring the trails nearby, our lake house is the perfect place to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Pet Policy: No pets are allowed at this rental due to allergies. Strictly enforced!!
Smoking Policy: To maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment for all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the house, outside of the house, or on the beach lot by the lake. A cleaning fee will be charged if smoke odor, ash, or residue is detected inside the house.
Cleaning Policy: The cleaning fee is $200.00 per weekly stay. To help keep the property in good condition, guests are asked to place all used towels in the hamper or designated area. Take out the trash to the appropriate bin. Check for personal belongings before you leave. Additional Charges May Apply If an excessive mess is left behind (e.g., stains, trash left throughout the property). Our check-in is 4 pm and our check-out is 10 am. We discourage early check-ins.We want to make sure the house is in top condition for our new arrivals.
Linen Policy: We supply linens and blankets for the bedrooms. Two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth per guest. One bathmat per bathroom. Dish towel in kitchen. Linen Care: Please do not use white towels for removing makeup or cleaning. Do not remove linens from the property or you will be charged a fee. Beach towels are not provided; please bring your own for beach/lake use. Laundry Access: Guests are welcome to use the in-unit washer and dryer. Detergent is provided in limited quantities
Security Deposit Information: 50% security deposit required upon contract. Fully refundable if the reservation is canceled 2 weeks before the arrival date. We return deposits within 7 days of departure. There will also be a Local Transit Occupancy Tax.
