If you seek privacy, comfort, the sounds of nature and the river at your doorstep, you've found it in this year-round retreat: at the end of a mile long woods road and alongside the east branch of the Ausable River at the foot of Ebenezer Mountain ("Old Eb"). The front porch (with rocking chairs and a picnic table) and lawn overlook the river with a stairway leading to a swimhole of your own. Whiteface Mountain is 10 minutes away and 20 minutes to Lake Placid. Enjoy x-country skiing, snowshoein …g, or summer hiking and berry-picking and wildlife sightings along the trails of our 23 wooded acres.

The main floor has hard-wood floors throughout and includes a large living room / dining room with two bay windows overlooking the Ausable River as well as a raised stone hearth fireplace : fire wood is provided. The kitchen is off to one side, and includes fridge, double ovens, microwave and is fully stocked with utensils. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Past the laundry room is a powder room.

The cabin has 5 bedrooms: the master bedroom is on the main floor and has a queen size bed, a full bathroom with newly renovated walk-in shower, 2 closets, and a bay-window view of Old Eb. Upstairs are four bedrooms: 1 with a Queen, 1 with a full bed, with large closet/bureaus and sitting area in each. Additionally there are 2 rooms, each with two twin beds and a closet/bureau. Upstairs is also a full bathroom with a whirlpool bath/shower. For added comfort, each bedroom, bathroom and living area has a separate heating thermostat.

WiFi to afford internet access! And a new flatscreen 32" smart tv.

The basement (unfinished) has an old ping-pong table. We store two Xlarge and Medium dog crates there for your use.

There are 3 kayaks and a canoe, with lifevests, under the front porch.

At the rear of the cabin is a large deck - great for catching the morning sun. There is also an open back yard for outdoor games as well as a fire pit at the far corner.

If leaving your dog unsupervised in cabin, we ask that you use one of our 2 extra large dog crates since we've found that even the best behaved dogs can 'act out' when left alone in unfamiliar surroundings. Thanks.
Smoking Policy: Smoking outdoors only. Please do not leave butts behind, thanks.
Cleaning Policy: Cleaning fee usually runs about $130. It is charged at a $20 hourly rate.
Linen Policy: Provided: includes sheets and towels.
We provide 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, and basic kitchen staples (we ask that you replace any spices/sugar/oil that you see are running low)
