“We are very fortunate to live in an area that many people visit to camp and spend time in Nature. Yet, there is something about adding a beautiful lake with the sound of Loons that makes me very jealous of the people who call this Silver Lake or any Lake like it, Home! To find a beautiful cabin in a private setting, which we also have at home and are very spoiled by, is just what we wanted. We were also lucky enough to have the owners home the week we visited, what great neighbors they are, and we would miss them if they were not home. How many times can you say that about a rental property? We were also so Thankful that they allow pets for responsible pet parents!
We hope to return to Silver Lake and look very much forward to that day! Until then, we will enjoy our pictures and dreams.

“Latitude 44.5" was the dream house to rent, one of the best we've rented, totally clean upon arrival, stocked with all the things we forgot, even had heat the first night we arrived which was kinda cold, and the fire pit was awesome. The house was all ADK with the wood work and furniture. directTV was a nice thing to have, allowed to keep track of some of the good Wimbledon matches and the Tour de France. Joe and Nancy were very hospitable all week. Really enjoyed Silver Lake for swimming and kayaking, great neighbors too, one which let us borrow a kayak one day so all 3 of us could paddle together. The snowmobile trails walk-able from the house were great, Silver Lake Mt was also walk-able from the house and an awesome view of the lake. We usually go to different locations year to year to explore further but we hope to repeat back to this one again.”

“We had a fantastic time at Lititude 44.5. From the moment we walked in it felt like a home away from home. The cottage was clean, well kept and the most well stocked kitchen with everything and anything you may need for cooking. It was the perfect location for us, being on beautiful Silver Lake and close to High Peak hiking. You have to try the wood burning sauna! Best part was we got to bring our family dog it wouldn't of been the same without her.”

“My wife and I have stayed at this location numerous times. The accommodations are
superb, with a great lake, and many activities near by.
I would highly recommend this rental property. ”
