The Moss Rock Lodge is a classic Adirondack Lodge on the North Shore of Fourth Lake conveniently located between Old Forge and Inlet. The fully equipped kitchen has new stainless steel appliances. A large dining room with seating for 12 overlooks Fourth Lake. The Master Bathroom has a tub with optional shower head. The Guest Bathroom has a nice sized walk-in shower. The half-bath is located on the 1st floor near the back door. The great room offers comfortable furnishings, a fireplace, 40" …flatscreen TV, and spectacular lake view. A cozy sunporch is a favorite place for kids to watch cartoons early in the morning. Just outside, a large wrap around porch also overlooks the lake. Summer and autumn activities include swimming, hiking, boating, biking, golfing, white water rafting, canoeing, and kayaking. Our camp is within walking distance of Bald Mountain which offers an easy 20 minute hike to the summit and spectacular views of Fourth Lake and surrounding landscape.

Our kitchen has everything you'll need to create an adirondack feast! There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, steak knives, platters, bowls, glassware and coffee mugs. A Keurig coffee maker makes it convenient for every guest to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea no matter how early they rise (or how late they wake up)! A blender will help happy hour get off to a great start with those frozen concoctions... We provide an electric griddle for those big adirondack breakfasts! Don't bother bringing dish towels, sponges, dishwashing or dishwasher soaps because it's all there. We also will have on hand several rolls of paper towels and toilet paper in each bathroom for starters...along with napkins, tinfoil, ziplock bags, and plastic wrap.

A large firepitt on the water's edge is surrounded with natural Adirondack boulders for seating! A perfect way to end the day by sitting around the fire enjoying the breathtaking night sky, good conversation and maybe a few S'mores!

Pet Policy: We do not allow pets at any time! This allows us to advertise our property as "allergy free" . Bringing a pet onto our property is a violation of the rental agreement! Thank you for respecting this rule.
Smoking Policy: No smoking inside. Ashtrays provided on the porch.
Cleaning Policy: Prior to departure, we expect renters to empty the refrigerator and trashcans, strip beds, leave comforters, blankets and pillows where you originally found them. Wash all dishes & empty dishwasher, leave furniture and amenities where they were found upon arrival, and otherwise leave the place tidy, organized and ready for our cleaning service to get to work. A detailed departure checklist is posted at the lodge. A standard cleaning charge of $350 will be deducted from the security deposit, as well as any additional charges for cleaning, repairs or trash removal as deemed necessary by owner.
Linen Policy: Tenant supplies all bed linens and towels. Pillows and blankets/comforters are supplied by owner.
Security Deposit Information: $1000.00 security deposit required to reserve your week. Security deposit is not to be considered prepaid rent. Security deposit refunded minus the minimum $350 cleaning charge after cleaning service reports to owner. Any additional cleaning fees will be deducted from the security deposit at the discretion of owner.
