“Our family, including several extended family members, has returned annually to Camp Loretta for a number of years. Our children, now 20, 18 and 13, have cherished memories of fun times spent at this beautifully kept cabin that manages to be both peacefully cozy and roomy enough for all 8 of us. Many meals made in the full kitchen and enjoyed either al fresco on the back deck, in the wonderful screen porch, or in the dining area. The upstairs full bath is remarkably roomy and the outside shower is a wonderfully refreshing treat. Fantastic fishing, canoeing, hiking, swimming off the diving dock and plenty of books, games, movies, etc., for rainy days. All that said, there is nothing quite like falling asleep while gazing out the master bedroom skylight at the full moon shining through the pines. Camp Loretta is a real gem!”

“My husband and I just spent two lovely weeks at Camp Lorretta. We were delighted with the comfortable and cozy cabin, decked out in true Adirondack style but with all the modern conveniences. The peace and quiet is amazing. Friends joined us for several nights and we had fun exploring Rainbow Lake in the canoes. There was always activity to watch--the red squirrels and chipmunks are busy all day and a number of duck families live near the dock and make daily swims by with their young. Lots to do in the area---hikes at the VIC at Paul Smiths with our dog, a tour of White Pine Camp, time in Lake Placid including a boat tour of Lake Placid which we had never done before, Thursday night Art Walk in Saranac Lake, only 15 minutes away. Hated to leave and look forward to returning.”

“Camp Loretta was more than we expected. Peaceful, lots of wildlife to enjoy and some great fishing. We caught a large walleye and the luna moth that clung to the screen was so beautiful and so rarely if ever seen. The personable owners provided good directions and helpful information, we were very relaxed and comfortable. Thank you. ”

“FABULOUS! Spent July 4th week at Camp Loretta and it could not have been better. The beauthy and serenity of the area are amazing and the cabin was everything and more than we expected. Every amenity was there for us. We found Camp Loretta cozy yet spacious allowing our family to spend time together while still affording plenty of privacy when desired. We loved having the downstairs area which provided a suite like accommodation for our married daughter, her husband and the family dog. We really enjoyed the screened porch for dinners allowing us to be outside to dine yet protected from mosquitos. The open deck is huge and a great place to relax, read, chat, enjoy morning coffee or just take in the Adirondack beauty. The hammocks were enjoyed by everyone! We love to kayak so the area was perfect as was the gradual boat launch area, and daily outings onto Rainbow lake and over to Clear Pond and the Flow were so enjoyable. Nearby Osgood and Jones Pond also quickly became favorite paddling locations for us. The owners provided wonderful information about the cabin and the area. We didnt want to leave and we would love to return again and again to enjoy this special place. It is a bit of perfection!”
