"Silver View" is an all season, modern chalet overlooking pristine Silver Lake in the Adirondack High Peaks Region near Whiteface Mountain. The spacious chalet is equipped with all conveniences. An artesian well provides pure potable water. There is WiFi connection through Spectrum and tv through Directv

A sleeping loft (single beds and bunk beds) has a bathroom and TV area with satellite TV and VCR.

There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and another bathroom downstairs. The kitch …en has a compactor, microwave, dishwasher, etc. The living room has satellite TV.

A one hundred foot lighted pathway leads to the private dock which has seating to view the breathtaking mountains and sunsets. . Silver Lake is ideal for swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, sailing, and fishing.

Additional great fishing is found in the Au Sable and Saranac Rivers, Taylor Pond, and Union Falls. Hiking Trails and the High Peaks are also nearby.

Boat Rental: 16' PolarCraft Deep 'V' fishing/pleasure boat with 9.9 horsepower engine (life vests and gas provided) $300 for the week.

Canoe Rental: $50 per canoe per week (2 canoes available).

Kayak Rental: $50 per kayak per week (3 one person kayaks available).

If you bring your own boat, canoe, or kayak access to the lake is available on our own private boat ramp on our property.

Lake Placid, best known for the 1932 and 1980 Olympics, is just a short drive. It has fine dining and shopping as well as a horse show, Olympic Center, excellent golf courses, and dog sled rides on Mirror Lake.

Silver Lake is a winter wonderland and Whiteface Mountain offers some of the best skiing in the east. Snowshoe, cross country, and snowmobile trails are right out the front door.

Plan an excursion to Au Sable Chasm, the North Pole, Whiteface Mountain, Whiteface Mountain ski area, Lake Champlain, Vermont, and Montreal. These destinations offer more opportunities to enjoy the North Country.

Cleaning Policy: Check out is at 12 Noon and check in at 3 P.M. We utilize a cleaning service between rentals which is included in our rental rates (no extra charge). Prior to departure we expect renters to empty the refrigerator, run the dishwasher, leave furniture and amenities where they were found upon arrival and leave the place tidy, organized and ready for the cleaning service to get to work.
Linen Policy: Linens and towels are not provided. There are 10 single size beds and two queen size beds. Blankets, comforters, and pillows are provided.
Security Deposit Information: No additional security deposit is required.
