Built in 1924, restored and renovated, the two bedroom Cottage has 1 Ki …ng and 1 Queen bedrooms, sleeps four comfortably but can accommodate up to six people. Full bath with pedestal sink and antique claw foot tub and shower. Living room has Phillips Flat screen, Spectrum Cable TV, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Wireless Audio Engine Speakers, Premium cable with FREE WI-FI internet access. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room, full-service laundry room, and a fenced yard. Quick 10-minute walk to Main St. Linen and towels are provided!
There is also a romantic Studio Cottage, sleeps two people comfortably, is very private and has a kitchenette with sink, stove, and refrigerator, private bathroom with pedestal sink, antique claw foot tub/shower for after those long days on the mountain. The living area has a California King size bed (heated) with sitting area, Phillips flat screen TV with Spectrum Cable, HBO, Showtime and FREE WI-FI internet access. Linen and towels are provided. A perfect getaway for anyone who loves to be romantic, cozy, and warm! Book one or both properties for your personal enjoyment.
Guests can tour the Olympic Village, ski, bobsled, and take the luge ride. The famed Lake Placid Lodge is nearby for fine dining and the Whiteface Club offers both golf and tennis. Children's programs, theater, music, museums, and nightlife are all close at hand.
Here is a short list of the activities in and around Lake Placid: mountain cycling, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golfing, hiking, mountain climbing, sailing, sight-seeing, shopping, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, swimming, tennis, and horseback riding. “We stayed in this cozy Bungalow cottage for a weekend get-away and just fell in love with the place. Our first visit to Lake Placid and this was perfect. Close to everything and quiet. Sharon was the kindest hostess and had everything set for us upon arrival to make the weekend a relaxing one. Will definitely book again. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! :) ”

“We LOVED GO-Cottage. My partner and I stayed in the two-bedroom cottage that was designed with a 1920's inspiration. Homey, beautiful and comfy. There is also a studio cottage on premise that has the same style and feel. The cottage was very close to biking and hiking trails and downtown Lake Placid near all the great restaurants. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends. ”
