Escape to this quiet, true Adirondack setting and find pure relaxation. Built as a cure cottage, the original look of this well-maintained cabin is part of the charm. Enjoy the peacefulness of a mountain view across the lake, early morning kayaking or fishing in the bay, and evening bonfires in the outdoor fireplace.

Quality time is guaranteed. Go back to the simple way of life and enjoy the hammock, screened porch, sandy point to swim and watch sunsets, the indoor cobblestone fireplace, and …the hot water outdoor shower surrounded by towering pines. What a way to appreciate nature and start the day! You may even see an eagle fly overhead as there is a nest within sight. With very little housekeeping, there is nothing to do but relax. Apple TV (Netflix available with your own sign-in). DVD player.

The cabin has three bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds and one with a set of twin beds (sleeps 6). The indoor bathroom has a toilet and sink, and the kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, a beverage refrigerator and a gas stove with oven. The outdoor grills are great for Adirondack barbeques. There is a gas grill, a charcoal grill, a charcoal smoker and two large propane burners for boiling water for corn or lobster.

Oseetah Lake is perfectly located to help people enjoy the area. Access to the Saranac Chain of lakes from your dock allows one to travel up to 21 miles of scenic waterway. Easy travel to Lower or Middle Saranac Lakes.Two kayaks and two canoes are included. Our cabin is centrally located between the villages of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, about 10 minutes from each. Saranac Lake is a wonderful little village with concerts in the park, Pendragon Theater for some wonderful stage productions, and lots of interesting shops on Main Street. Lake Placid, the Olympic Village, has great shopping, tours of the Olympic venues, a movie theater, and many restaurants. Grocery shopping can be found in either place.

As the saying goes, "Location, location, location" is what makes our cabin the perfect getaway. The beauty of our spot is the fact that it is so close to civilization, yet when you are here, you will enjoy the quiet solitude of an ideal Adirondack vacation.
The owners reserve the right to access their power boats at the camp during rentals.

Rates

Our minimum rental is for one week. We rent from Saturday to Saturday. Weekly rate is $3500 plus 5% County Tax. Half (50%) is due at the time of booking - balance plus 5% taxes due 2 weeks before arrival. Check in is at 2:00 pm. Check out is at 11:00 am.
