Our spectacular Paradox lakefront house with private beach is a prow front, four bedroom built for year round living. The great area, overlooking the lake through the front wall of glass, contains the living area, dining area, and wood stove. The great area front wall of glass provides a spectacular view of Paradox Lake and an amazing feel to the home. The knotty pine ceilings add a Adirondack feel. A deck and screened in porch provide great lake views and outside enjoyment regardless of the weather. The first floor has two bedrooms and a newly remodeled full bath, the second floor has the master bedroom and a newly remodeled full bath with a spectacular glass shower. The finished walkout basement has a family area with a convertible couch, two twin beds, and a laundry. We provide unlimited high speed wireless internet but do not have television service. We provide a Smart TV in both the living area and basement family area (for apps like Netflix only, no TV reception). The beach access is a very convenient wooden walkway, providing great beach access. Our dock has a ladder for a convenient return from swimming. We provide an Old Town canoe and life jackets to enjoy the lake with.

Rates

$2,940 per week during peak season and holiday weeks; $840 per weekend (2 nights) or $2,690 per week non-peak weeks. We require 7 day minimums during the summer season (mid June to early September), and rent from Saturday to Saturday. We require two night minimums during the rest of the year,

Schroon Lake requires the collection of 5% Essex County Occupancy Tax and the renter to acknowledge a code of conduct.

About Us: We are Doug and Candy Davis. We have loved Paradox Lake from the first visit there over 40 years ago. We are bicyclists and hikers and love the Adirondacks. We built this home in 1987, and we have always loved our home and our time at Paradox Lake.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Paradox Lake: The Paradox Lake area is an absolutely beautiful area with bicycling, hiking, fishing, water sports, or just plain relaxing all at your fingertips. Pharaoh Wilderness region is within 5 minutes of the home. You can visit Gore, Lake Placid, Blue Mountain, or other Adirondack sites all within an easy day's drive. Shopping is available in both Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga, both within 15 minutes from the home. Golf is available at Ticonderoga (18 hole course) or Schroon Lake (9 hole course).

Why our property is special: The view of the lake from our custom prow front home is spectacular. The beachfront is a great place for all ages, from young children to adults. The sand beach area is a perfect play area, and swimming from the dock is always available. Fishing is right off the dock or from the canoe, and the canoe is also a perfect way to explore both the lake and the inlet to the lake. Sitting on the front deck and enjoying the lake view is a great way to relax. A boat launch at the State Campground.
