Full basement to bring bikes or canoe in from the weather. Private boat launch on property …. Row boat and pedal boat available to take quiet trips around the bay or out onto the lake. The bays of Rainbow Lake offer fishing and solitude; while the main lake gives way to swimming, boating, sailing and canoeing. The 25 mile waterway supports a wide variety of wildlife, such as loons, herons, ospreys and a variety of ducks. Scenic location to sit and enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the outside covered porch. Deck off kitchen with gas grill and picnic table to enjoy outside meals or just sit and relax in the sunlight.

“Stayed for a week and loved it. Family of 5 with some friends stopping in and never once felt cramped. Amazing mornings sitting on the dock listening to the loons and birds. Caught every type of fish except for walleye. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and pedal boats. Drive to Saranac and Lake Placid was short and a great view of the high peak region. Tons of hiking, paddling, fishing and shopping, all within 5-40 minute drive. Its not mentioned but there is a private boat launch on site you could use for anything under a cabin cruiser. I brought along a small motor and used the row boat on site. Would have loved to have had my day sailor with me to enjoy the winds on the lake. The floating dock had over 2' of water and was weed free. A nice snowmobile trail also passes right behind the house with easy access. Owners have done some great upgrades and are finishing them up. By no means a construction zone, just wrapping up some details and improving the house and land. Owners were great to communicate with and would definitely stay here again. I've paid more else where in the High Peaks Region and had much less. ”
