Our waterfront cabin is on Adirondack Lake, one of several lakes in the Hamlet of Indian Lake. Built in 2006, it is a year-round cabin sitting on 1.4 acres of wooded property. The cabin has two (2) first floor bedrooms (queen, two singles), a second floor bedroom (queen), 1.5 baths, living room, kitchen, mudroom, and two porches (1 screened). The cabin has all the conveniences one would need. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, gla …sses, utensils and coffee-maker. The living room has satellite television with DVD/VCR. The mudroom has a washer/dryer. We have Wi-Fi.
Indian Lake is a year-round vacation spot in the heart of the Adirondacks. In the summer enjoy our dock, rowboat, canoe, kayaks(2), outdoor fire pit, picnic table and Adirondack chairs, all waterside or dine on the screened porch after cooking on the propane grill by the cabin. In the morning have your coffee on the front porch and enjoy the sunrise while listening to the loons. Fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming and golfing are just some of the many available activities. Indian Lake is also where whitewater rafting starts down the Hudson River. In addition, visit the nearby wonderful Adirondack Museum. In the winter enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing or skiing (20 minutes to Gore Mountain). There is snowmobile, snowshoe and cross-country skiing trail access from the cabin's property. We also have some games, books and movies available if you have the time.

“What a beautiful quiet lake and a wonderful time we had in this lovely well maintained cabin. We kayaked daily and were thrilled to see loons, heron, otter, and ducks. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing Adirondack getaway, this is a perfect spot. We hope to return next summer. ”

“We've been going up to Indian Lake in the fall for eight years and this is far and away the best place we've stayed in. The cabin itself is perfect. Comfortable, clean and airy with all the creature comforts one could want. The property is beautiful and offers so many relaxing options. Sit and dine at the kitchen table and look out the back window at the lake. Enjoy the same view from the screened in deck or from the porch. Get closer to the outdoors by the picnic table or the Adirondack chairs located by the firepit or by my favorite place: the Adirondack chairs on the private dock. The quiet and protected cove is a great place to float or fish and gives access to explore the rest of the lake (which is made easy because the owners provide a rowboat, a canoe, two kayaks, an inflatable raft and tubes). The location is convenient - one mile from the center of town yet one feels remote and secluded. Without a doubt, we'll be back next year.”
