WATERFRONT RETREAT WITH BOAT DOCK

Huletts Landing is on the East side of Lake George about 40 minutes north of Lake George Village. Indian Bay is a protected bay just north of Huletts Landing and is lined with private homes (seasonal and year-round) with a state-owned island at the mouth of the bay.

The Adirondack style lakefront cottage has gorgeous views of Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains. Enjoy watching the sun set over the mountains from the screened-in porch or waterfront deck. Swim to the island from the sandy …beach or off the dock, or at the community beach with dock and raft just a short walk away. The dock is available for your own or rental boat (marinas can deliver rental boats). A canoe and rowboat are provided. Many amenities are within walking distance - a marina that sells essential groceries; and County Park with beach, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground. Walk to Huletts Landing to the public Par 3 golf course, old fashioned soda fountain for ice cream, Post Office, and Catholic Church.

The cottage is clean and comfortable with three bedrooms, one full bath with shower and one half bath, Ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms, screened-in porch, front and back decks, outdoor grill, and woodstove. The Vermont Castings woodstove heats the whole cabin in the Spring or Fall, or you can take the chill out of a cool night. There is also a mini-split that will cool the entire cabin on hot days and warm it up when it is cool. Light Southern pine floors and pine ceiling add to the warm and comfortable ambiance. Light pine paneled dining area with large picture window overlooks the waterfront with beautiful views of the lake, and afternoon sun and evening sunsets. The kitchen has lovely pine cupboards, newer appliances, microwave, and lots of counter space. It is fully equipped for those who like to cook. The house sleeps six (queen, full, two twin beds), and the beds are newer and comfortable. Linens and towels are not provided. Telephone, internet radio, radio/CD player, IPOD docking station, and high speed internet access.

The location is less than 30 minutes away from Fort Ticonderoga, Pattie's Patch (fresh vegetables and perfect home baked pies!), and Fairhaven, Vermont (restaurants and groceries).

Not suitable for young children - decks, stairs, and house not child-proofed.

No pets, no smoking.
