Cleaning Policy:
We charge a minimal cleaning fee which covers the basics. So, with that in mind....please leave the honeymoon cottage as you found it, with clean dishes, blankets & quilts folded and furniture in its place. Boats & fishing equipment should be back where they were found, neatly placed. Anything over and above minimal cleaning will be deducted from your deposit. Please do not move around furniture or put back where you found it.
-The cleaning service cleans the cottage upon your departure and arrives promptly at 11:00 am.
If the cottage is not left in "the same condition as found", a portion of the security will be kept to cover the extra cleaning cost.
Linen Policy:
You will need to bring your own towels, bed sheets, paper towels, toilet tissue & soaps.
-Blankets, Quilts & Pillows are provided.
Security Deposit Information:
A $500 refundable security deposit is required within 1 week of booking.
This security deposit is refunded within 1 -2 weeks after your departure after inspection of the cottage.
-Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Priotr to 60 Daysto of arrival date - Full refund of security deposit & rental fee.
-Cancellation between 1-60 days prior to arrival date:
If we are unable to rent the cottage - your security is refundable however the rental fee is non refundable.
If we are able to re-rent the cottage for the same week for the same price - your security deposit & rental fee is refundable minus a $100 cancellation fee.
If we rent it for less than the agreed rental rate or for fewer days - you will be charged the difference. The remainder of your security deposit & rental fee will be refunded minus a $100 late cancellation fee.
-Due to our small parking area we do not allow RVs.
Because of the serenity of the lake and location down a private road, and in consideration of our lake neighbors, we cannot allow motorcycles without a trailer. If you wish to bring one, you must trailer it in & out of the private Kelm Lake community. Call to discuss.
