“This property is amazing. Perfect for families - both houses are well built and in great shape. The timber frame is gorgeous but not pretentious - we still felt very comfortable relaxing and being ourselves rather than feeling like we were in a museum. Kitchen is well stocked, some towels and linens provided. WiFi worked great. The sandy beach is shallow and great for kids. Perfect location on the end of the channel if you have a boat - you are out in open water quickly but boats have to go slowly past the dock. Bikes and kayaks provided were really nice and in great shape. No need to pack any chairs - tons of nice Adk chairs, zero gravity loungers and rocking chairs all around. Game room is great and has lots of fun board games. Stargazing on the dock was incredible. We were concerned about the road with young kids but during the week traffic wasn't too bad and it was very manageable. Owner was very friendly and immediately responsive when we had a slight issue. We rebooked before departing and cant wait to return!”

“Wow! Wow! Wow! This property was amazing! From the first minute we got there and met Larry and Linda we were excited about our stay. The timber frame home is absolutely gorgeous! When dreaming about a home on the lake this house is what we dream about! We were two families together totaling 14 people and between both houses we had more than enough room. The adults stayed in the timber frame home and enjoyed the beauty and luxury of it for the week. The teenagers stayed in the house on the lake and loved having their own place. We were able to play games in the yard, kayak, canoe and tie our boat up to the dock so we could go tubing and knee boarding whenever we wanted. The game room was relaxing with it being right over the water. You could hear the lap of the waves underneath you and it was a really cool experience. Larry was very responsive when we had questions. I cant say enough good things about this property. We go away for a week every year, for the last 20 years, and we all walked away saying that was the best week ever! ”

“Exceeded our expectations! This property is truly amazing. The Timber Frame house is clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. There's a roomy front porch with porch swing and rocking chairs for your relaxation. We cooked our nightly dinners on the gas grill that was located right outside of the kitchen. We enjoyed eating dinner at the dining area on the back patio. The back patio area has a dining area, sitting area, and fire pit. The Lake House is located directly on the lake. It was a great place for our extended family to stay. There's a deck that overlooks the lake on the upper level of the Lake House. The views are magnificent from the deck! There is an awesome game room located on the lower level of the Lake House. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit near the sandy beach area next to the lake. Our children enjoyed spending most of their time at the sandy beach area. The dock area is nice for sitting and fishing. The owner was very responsive and helpful as he answered all of my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. The property was everything that we were hoping for and more. This was one of the most relaxing and memorable weeks we have ever spent.”

“Perfect! Not much more to say than that. Both houses are amazing. Timber frame house is gorgeous, boat house has some of the best views of First Lake. Beach area was great for the kids, dock worked wonderful for having our boat tied up to explore the lake chain. Had 11 people and did not feel crowded at all. Would definitely come again, hopefully we can make it a yearly tradition. ”

“We absolutely loved our week long stay at this property! It had everything you could want for all ages, as we had grandparents, parents, teens, and young children in our travel party. The beach was perfect for the kids as far as playing in the sand, swimming, jumping off the docks, fishing, and feeding the ducks literally right out of their hands. The lake house is cozy and has a great view off the front deck for morning coffee. The timberframe is GORGEOUS and spacious, perfect for our large familiy dinners and breakfasts. We used the firepit every night for smores and relaxing...there are tiki torches to keep the bugs away, fire starter blocks to make starting the fire easy, and plenty off firewood. We used the four kayaks and mountain bikes quite a bit as well. Best of all, Larry was amazing to work with and easy to contact, from the renting process all the way through our stay. We definitely hope to stay here again next year!”

“Our family of 11 enjoyed a blissful reunion at this perfect rental property. For decades, we have been renting places on various lakes in the area, always interested in trying something new. This time, the family said, "yes, let's come back here again - it was perfect." Here is what we loved:
-proximity and convenience to stores (who wants to drive 20 miles for hot dog buns when dinner is ready in a few minutes)?
-stunning home(s) with something for everyone (my 92 year old mother loved sitting on the patio out back to read and our 22 year old son loved playing pool in the boathouse)
-strong wifi (let's face it - two weeks away, some of us still gotta get some work done)
-no reason to leave to find something to do (beachy waterfront with shallow water for swimming, games and comfort in case of rain, right on the channel of the Fulton Chain for immediate kayaking, boating, or fishing)
-quiet, secluded road - I really don't think we saw any neighbors!
-room to spread out (let's face this too, there are times in a family reunion when you just need some peace!)
-amazing renters - they did everything and anything to ensure we had a fabulous time
We can't wait to go back. We really miss it.
