Enjoy a lovely early Adirondack Camp with its unique architecture and elegance. Tucked in a wooded secluded area with 220 feet of private shoreline that includes a private boat dock with plenty of room for your party barge. Rent a kayak or canoe from the Frisky Otter next door and explore the lake. Wander down a short path to our scenic point to a very private sandy beach with shallow water swimming. You'll have a commanding view down 4th lake with a surrounding mountain panorama. Sit on th …e nearby bench and enjoy the magnificent sunsets of the Adirondacks. Enjoy our wooded lot with lots of opportunities to explore.

The Highland Lodge built in 1895 and restored in 1995 sleeps up to twelve people and has 5 bedrooms, each with its own unique decor and original antiques. There are 4queen sized beds and 2 twin beds. Also available are a pop up twin bed and a rollout sofa. You'll find two a half bathrooms, and enjoy soaking in the charming original clawfoot tub. You will need to supply your linens.

Cook up your speciality in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, that includes granite countertops, a chopping block center island, a variety of small appliances, microwave oven, and dishwasher, and refrigerator with a large drawer freezer. Enjoy the full selection of our spice rack. You'll find plenty of dishes from casual to china for any celebrations you have. You don't have to worry about bringing any paper goods or cleaning supplies. Toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies are all supplied. Please bring your own personal shampoo and other items.

The house has many gathering places including a wrap around porch on the lakeside complete with Adirondack chairs, rockers, and a swing, a deck with view of the woods off the back of the house, a living room (parlor), sitting room with an antique grand piano, and a large dining room (seating for 12), the firepit lakeside, and a secluded point.

Head down to the lake for the most incredible panoramic sunsets and enjoy the stone firepit. For cool evenings, there are two wood burning fireplaces in the Lodge, each one with marble inlays and Celtic cornerstones. All firewood is included in your stay.

The Highland Lodge is truly the sweet spot of Inlet with privacy, yet convenience to the Village. Just a few hundred feet from our circular driveway is another path that leads you past the nearby Woods Inn and then a short distance into the Hamlet of Inlet.

Visit all the charming shops, the lakeside park with playground, the famous Northern Lights ice cream stand, Mary's Bakery with fresh warm donuts each morning, the Blue Line coffee shop, Matts Draft House (50 beers on tap), Tony Harpers Clam Shack, Archies Alley (Mexican), and The Caboose (Paninis).

The local library is a wonderful spot for children on a rainy day. The Inlet Department Store also provides a great place for kids and adults to shop along with Adirondack Jacks adirondack furniture and antiques.
