“Amazing place! Location cannot be beat. Cabin was clean, upscale, had everything we needed. We cooked all meals in the cabin, kitchen was perfect! We are a party of 5, with 3 adult children. My 21 year old used the loft and enjoyed his time away from everyone but overlooking and listening to all going down below. The boathouse is fantastic with unbelievable views. Loons graced us everyday, as well as 3 otters, and 2 deer. My crew hiked some of the usual Adirondack mountains and then came back to sit in the hot tub and use the outdoor shower! A very very relaxing and beautiful place which we will be visiting again. Tim and Susan are very receptive and available to answer any questions! A vacation that will be remembered because of the this location! Many thanks! ”

“We had a super enjoyable stay here at Tim and Susan's cabin. Be ready for a longish drive in on a gravel road, make sure you've got all the supplies you want if you don't want to go back out again that day. But that's also part of the charm of it, as you can go for a long walk or bike ride from the cabin and be in the woods the entire time. The cabin itself is lovely, the kitchen is excellent and everything needed is right to hand. We like to cook and did so every night. The loft is a 3rd bedroom if you have an agile teenager or two, my daughter was happy to scramble up the natural wood ladder each night. The boathouse, dock and lake are easily accessible and great to swim from, we also kayaked and canoed right from there. We heard and saw loons every morning and evening. As a bonus - if you want a fantastic hike, Ampersand Mtn is just a few minutes away (trailhead is at most 10 minutes towards Saranac once you get to the highway). If you've never done it, it's a keeper - beautiful trail and 360 degree payoff views at the top. Susan and Tim were accommodating in every regard, would absolutely stay here again. ”

“Our family spent a wonderful week on Upper Saranac Lake at Camp Tiasuaa. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4 - super comfortable with all the amenities needed. Its the perfect location on the lake to explore via kayak or canoe. You couldn't beat the views from the living room or the boathouse and the gorgeous sunsets. We had wonderful week that allowed us downtime to sit on the dock and read, swim in the lake, boat around, camp fires, and hike a few of the ADK high peaks. ”

“We stayed here this July 2017 and it was beautiful and very comfortable. The cabin is very nice and very clean. It has beautiful woodworking throughout. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed and the beds are quite comfortable too. We took the Boston Whaler out fishing and really had a good time out on the lake. The lake is very big and lots of spots to catch fish. We had a fire in the fire pit some evenings and swam off the end of the dock. Even took a trip to Lake Placid one day for lunch which is very close. Such a beautiful setting we would come back here again.”

“A great camp with so much to offer, from the location on the lake, the private setting and the views are incredible, especially for the sunsets. The house is modern and Adirondack cozy while handling our family of four just fine. The kitchen has all you will need and the grill on the raised deck is great, along with the view and the hot tub underneath is especially nice after a day of hiking or canoeing. There is a well thought out wood chip filled path that leads to a fire pit and the boathouse with a game room that looks right out on the lake. Also, a small Boston Whaler is available that is great for fishing or beer runs to Donaldson's. Camp Tiasuaa has provided our family with lifelong memories a great place to connect with nature. We can't wait for our return trip.”

“We have been going up to Saranac lake for many years now. In our opinion it's one of the most beautiful lakes in the Adirondacks. It also has the Best fishing. We had the pleasure of staying at Camp Tiassua last summer. This camp is the nicest for the dollar that we have stayed. The home is beautiful and warm with great adirondack touches. Kitchen and bath are beautiful and clean. The outdoor shower is so nice to use and the hot tub is great too. Our favorite place to hang was the boat house. The property is really private and a great mix of woods and campy areas. We caught a ton of bass and some enormous northern pike. The owners are really nice too. Can't say enough wonderful things about our stay. We hope to return again. ”
