One seasonal lakefront cottage on scenic Fourth Lake. Joan's Beach is a privately owned property that consists of two cottages. Joan's Beach is located on Rt 28, 1/4 mile west of Inlet, NY. It is very convenient to walk into town with well maintained sidewalks. Inlet offers great shopping, dining and movies. Also there are concerts in the community park. We have a firepit for each cottage great for roasting marshmallows. The beach is private to the two cottages and is a gradual walkout perfect f …or new swimmers. We provide three kyacks for use great for exploring Fourth Lakes beautiful shore line. There are several hiking trails near by and all the Adirondacks have to offer within a short drive.
Beach cottage has 4 bedrooms 1 downstairs with double bed; upstairs 1-with 2 double beds; 1 with two twins; 1-with 1 double bed.

“We hit the jackpot! It seems very rare to find a rental in this area with beautiful lake and mountain views, a private beach!, charcoal grill, fire pit and canoe and kayak for renter use. Everything you need to relax and enjoy the Adirondack Mountains is right here. A quick walk one direction and you're in Inlet, the other direction an afternoon hike up Black Bear. The owners graciously left us dishsoap, kitchen towels, a bathroom hand towel, and bathroom paper enough to get started. The kitchen is stocked with dishware and cookware to get you through the week but if you plan on a lot of cooking you'll need a large pot, a kitchen knife, and possibly a strainer and pitcher. No complaints though. The cabin would be small for 8 adults but 6 adults fit nicely since we spent most of out time outdoors anyway. We would definitely choose Joans Beach for our return trips to the area.”

“If you want a million dollar location, incredible views of Fourth Lake and a spacious, private sandy beach, then you will love this property. The camp is immaculate and quaint. Small for eight people but we only needed a place to sleep and eat as the outdoor area is why we came! We have rented many camps in the ADK for more than thirty years and these are the most gracious and accommodating owners! Our entire family of three generations had a fantastic week!”
