“We had a great time staying at the Gore Farmhouse. Loved being so close to Gore Mountain! The home was set up great for our stay of two couples. We each had our own "wing" of the house in the upstairs areas. The owners are making some upgrades to the house; the huge mud room/enclosed porch was great for our ski equipment and keeping additional groceries and drinks cold. The gas fireplace was awesome for heating the living room and cozy after a long ski day. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Hope to return in the future!”

“Alex and Michelle were awesome! They were so easy to contact and were super helpful and kind over the phone. The place was immaculate, large, had tons of amenities, and could not be closer to Gore mountain! I would highly recommend this charming house to anyone looking to get away with loved ones and ski! Had an absolute blast. Thanks :)”

“Beautiful farm house on a lovely piece of land close to restaurants yet far from the hustle. House is great for entertainment-gathering with two large living rooms connected by the dining room with the kitchen on one side. We visited in summer so there is hiking close by, the small town of North Creek (glass blowing!) to wander around, and a lake beach, although due to rain we didnt venture there.We spent an afternoon at Ausable Chasm - highly recommend!Kitchen is well stocked w extras (spices, utensils, etc.) in addition to plenty of paper products. Beds & linens are comfortable with the master bedroom/bath separate from the other two bedrooms.Owner was helpful on many occasions, very responsive & knowledgeable. Returned deposit promptly.Hope to stay again sometime!”

“The house and the host were both wonderful! We rented the house at the last minute to take advantage of a snow storm and everything was perfect. There were two families of 4 staying in the house and we had plenty of space. It was great to have a separate living room for the kids to play while the adults talked. We will definitely be bookmarking this location and trying to take advantage again next season. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Gore Farmhouse in March 2019 for our ski weekend! The house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The bedrooms and living areas were very comfortable and felt spacious, even with several kids (ages 4-7) running around. The location was also extremely convenient, just a short drive to Gore mountain. Additionally, Alex, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and extremely accommodating with the check-out process. He was also very helpful returning an item that was accidentally left behind at the house. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place near Gore Mountain. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we look forward to staying again in the future! ”

“We were very pleased with our 3-night stay at Gore Farmhouse. All the descriptions given by the owners and the reviews by previous renters are accurate EXCEPT the photos don't do it justice---I found the inside to be even more appealing and roomier in real life. My family hadn't seen the photos of the house, so when we pulled up to an old farmhouse style home, they were a bit apprehensive even though it looked like a winter wonderland with all the fresh snow covering the surrounding ground & trees. (We'd had a sketchy experience with a rental of an older home on AirB&B in the fall.) However, we were all thrilled with the interior and there was plenty of room for us---and all our ski/winter gear. The Gore Mountain Ski Resort really is just minutes away. We had one issue with the guest toilet but the neighbor/caretaker, Steve, resolved it promptly the next morning. If we ever come back to Gore Mountain to ski, we would rent here again.”

“This is a great rental property to host your extended family, including your family pets! The home is very comfortable with a large yard for games, campfires, or grilling. The most important thing to me - the bedding is excellent! Premium mattresses and comfortable linens allow you to get a good night's sleep before a day out hiking or exploring.
The house was well stocked with everyday supplies and basics so the visitor does not have to run out and buy everything from paper towels to pepper. Kitchen equipment and cutlery are of good quality and not vacation home castaways.
The full service grocery store and a convenience store (24 hour?) are within 1 mile of the home. If you are planning a vacation which includes white water rafting, you may want to plan in advance so you bring your appropriate gear and get a reservation on your preferred day.
The owners are very amicable, organized, prompt and honest in their transactions. It was a pleasure to have met them.
I added a small blender to the already well stocked kitchen, so if you stay with these owners, have a smoothie on me!”

“Our family of 5 stayed here for an amazing 4 days of hiking and whitewater rafting. The house was absolutely perfect. The kids had their own section and my husband and i had our own suite. the place was very clean and cozy and a fire pit was all set up for us when we arrived. It was less than a mile into town as well as Gore mt. for hiking or skiing. The kids are definitely in for next year!! Thank you!!”

“Had a great time over 4th of July weekend, 2015. The house was in great condition and we made use of both patios, one for BBQing and eating and the other for sitting in the morning. We enjoyed the town of North Creek and walks in the woods. Not being skiers, we would gladly return there in the summer.”

“Fantastic place to stay anytime of year. I have stayed here multiple times for ski trips and weekend getaways and am always pleased. The location is ideal, being only a few miles from Gore Mtn. and right in the town of North Creek. The home owners are friendly and accomodating and provide a welcoming home for my family to enjoy. The house is wonderfully maintained and provides all the amenities one can ask for.”

“The location is perfect - very short drive to Gore and into town at North Creek. The house was wonderful - perfect for our family of six. Our young children enjoyed the board games, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/utensils, and there were even thoughtful bathroom amenities. The owners were a pleasure to work with - gracious and accommodating. We'll be back!”

“The house was great - spacious layout and very clean, well appointed with lots of appreciated amenities (toys, linens, toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc). Close to Gore Mountain and North Creek, maybe a five minute drive in either direction. The owner communicated the rental agreement and home details well. Really only positive reviews. ”
