In the shadow of White Face mountain, nestled in the Adirondacks on pristine Union Falls Lake. Offering breath taking views in a serene setting. Our house books by the week Saturday to Saturday. The house is fully equipped and you need only bring towels. The seven mile long lake offers great fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Rental boats are available for a fee or if you have your own boat, dock space can be provided. Please keep in mind we do have a ten horse power limit on the lake. Kayaks are f …ree to use with the rental. Wildlife is often spotted from the lake, (eagles, bear, deer, moose and ducks) so don't forget your camera. For you trout fishermen the Saranac river is a very short walk. We are sure you will enjoy the house as much as we do.

“Just got home from an amazing and much needed week away with my best friend and 4 teenagers. The cabin was very clean, the view was amazing & the hosts were so nice and accommodating. We were worried about renting during these unprecedented times but found no need to worry once we arrived. We had full use of kayaks, canoes & peddle boats and the small beach area was perfect to set up chairs and spend the day down at the water. Hiking trails are open all around & Lake Placid is slowly starting to open back up. We took our first adventure to a restaurant and sat on a patio overlooking beautiful scenery while the wait staff took the upmost precautions. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely plan on coming back in the future. ”

“We found our little slice of heaven! Our family spent a week at the Lakehouse and couldn't have been more pleased! Randy and Kathleen are sweethearts and go over and above to make sure you have the most enjoyable vacation possible. The house is charming and immaculate and sits on the most picturesque piece of lakefront property imaginable including a wonderful view of Whiteface Mountain! You are going to love this serene lake for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and the likes. An evening campfire is most enjoyable at the fire pit and Randy makes sure you always have plenty of wood. Far enough away from all the tourist attractions to make it private and quiet, yet only a short drive to all of them; Placid, Saranac, Rainbow and Tupper Lakes, Ausable River/Chasm and Whiteface Mountain! If you're looking for a place to get away from it all to relax, we've found it for you! BTW, your pup is welcome upon request and the surroundings are perfect for him/her. Oh, and you really needn't leave the lakehouse to enjoy your vacation! Thanks Randy and Kathleen for sharing your amazing property with us. See you next year!!!”

“Had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse Labor Day week. The unit is private, spacious, spotless and perfectly located. Spent much time exploring the area, day-tripping to Ausable Chasm, Whiteface, Lake Placid, Tupper, Saranac and Rainbow Lakes. Great scenery and little glimpses of wildlife here and there. All the necessities were provided for us (excluding towels and food). The WiFi was spotty, but since we only really used it in the evening and were trying to "unplug" anyway, we didn't find that to be too big of an issue. Will definitely be back next year!”
