About the Area: Indian Lake is a 14 mile long lake with many small coves and islands ready to be explored. It is home to hundreds of miles of hiking trails, several white water rafting companies and lots of fishing! Because 75% of its shoreline is Adirondack park land, the lake is not overcrowded. Powerboats or small boats can be rented or launched at a nearby marina.

“My family (totaling 6 adults and 5 children) stayed at the property in June 2017 for a week to do some hiking in and around Indian Lake. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a better home. The size of the house was more than accommodating for our party of 11. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The layout of the home worked well to give our 3 families privacy. We rented a pontoon boat at the marina just down the road and enjoyed a day on Indian Lake. Goodnow and Blue Mountains were a short drive away. We also ventured down to Lake George for a day. All in all, it was a fantastic trip! We are already planning our next trip for June 2018. As other reviewers mentioned....the only thing that could make this house better would be a washer and dryer on site. Thanks for a great vacation!!”

“ We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Skies. The house is quite beautiful and fulfilled all of our needs. The house is much bigger than it looks from the pictures so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. the location is lovely and it is a very peaceful. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, glassware etc.. Beds were comfortable and all of the bathrooms were in great shape. My only complaint was the lack of a washer and drier. We try to pack light on vacation so we don't have to fill the car with huge suite cases, having to leave the house to wash our clothes takes away from the experience. If the owners put in a W&D to place would be near perfect!”
