Why we think you will enjoy staying in Onchiota: Onchiota is located about 13 miles from Saranac Lake, halfway between Bloomingdale and Paul Smiths College on County Route 60, right in the middle of endless waterways. All within walking distance are Buck Pond, Rainbow Lake, Lake Kushaqua and of course Oregon Pond, plus many small ponds and brooks, so much to explore.
Why our property is special: One of the most peaceful and serene places in the Adirondacks.The screened in front porch overlooks Oregon Pond were you can see our resident Loons and otter.

“Peace and tranquility! This cabin is amazing and the owners are wonderful. They are accommodating but not intrusive in the slightest. Clean would be an understatement, and you will want for nothing here, except possibly more time to stay. The pond is a perfect paddle and very serene. We had an amazing time here, thank you! We definitely hope to return!”

“Beautifully decorated cabin in the woods was very comfortable, clean and so relaxing. Just what we needed for a memorable vacation in the Adirondack's. Kayaking at its best. So many options on where to paddle. Nice screened in porch to read and breathe in the clean air. We loved Oregon Pond to row on at night. A definite away from it all stay. Thank you again for your hospitality.”
