Camp Deerwood's location makes for a great base camp, allowing guests easy access to one of a kind hiking trails, restaurants and summer activities in the Saranac Lake, Lake Placid region. Camp Deerwood is perfect for couples and families that enjoy outdoor adventures, swimming, fishing and water activities.

Stones throw from Paul Smiths College, excellent spot for parents weekend. For the little ones "Santa's Workshop" is about 40 min., on Whiteface Mt. "Yes" Santa is here !
