“ Our whole family RAVED about your place. They often like the different cabins and ADK homes that we stay at, but over the last 22 years there have only been a few they rave about. Thank you for letting us stay at your place, and at such a reasonable rate to boot. We LOVED it!”

“My husband and I, and our two daughters ages 6 & 7 spent our Spring Break this year at Loon Loft. We had an amazing time fishing off the dock, making sand castles on the beach and hiking. This house had everything you could of ever needed and more for entertainment, especially with two young girls that like to stay busy. Even though we didn't even need to leave the property because there was so much to do, we did take a ride to Lake George Village to hit up the arcade and have some Pizza. We couldn't believe it took us only about 15 minutes to get there from the rental home. We usually rent a home every year and we will definitely be staying here again!!! My favorite part was sitting on the huge deck enjoying a glass of wine and watching my girls enjoying nature so much! Thanks Doug for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful clean home. Hope to stay again soon!”

“My family and I recently spent a wonderful week at Loon Loft. The house was absolutely beautiful. From the stone fireplace in the living room to the expansive deck overlooking the wooded backyard, everything was perfect. There were eight people in our group and we never felt like we were in each others way. The house was very clean and kitchen fully stocked.
Our days were spent on Loon Lake, fishing, kayaking, and just relaxing on the beach. There were several mornings my husband and I decided to kayak before 6 am and I'm pretty sure we were the only two people on the water. Our evenings before dinner were spent relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine while watching the birds. After dinner we sat around the fire pit eating s'mores and star gazing. To be honest, I think we turned the television on only twice during our stay!
The town of Chestertown is a quaint little town not to far from the house. We attended the
farmers market which is held every Wednesday and ended up buying everything we needed for that nights dinner. It was so nice to be able to buy locally produced food.
We will remember our Loon Lake vacation and the memories we made here for years to come.

“We rented this home for our 25th wedding anniversary for 10 days. We had 9 ppl which 7 were from Europe. We had a wonderful time. The beach is nice and quiet and the fact we had access to a canoe & kayak was a plus!! Listening to the loons each morning and evening was also fantastic. The home is beautiful inside and out & plenty of room for everyone , the basement is like a rec room with games etc. Located right near Chestertown which was great for last min needs at local grocery store. The owner was very helpful and came through with everything we needed. A 10 out of 10 rating.!!
Would definitely rent again.
