Well insulated for those cold Adirondack nights - midway between Eagle Bay and Old Forge. 1/4 mile back in off of route 28 so it is very quiet. Near all of the local attractions along with beautiful Adirondack views of the lake and mountains.
Also connected directly to the famous Old Forge s …nowmobile trail system.
The cabin has been completely remodeled with a nice kitchen and 2nd Bedroom/Living Room with Flatscreen Cable TV and WiFi, Gas Barbeque included, 1 Bathroom w/ Shower. Cabin sleeps up to 5.

Plenty of parking for boat trailers and cars, beautiful dock to park your boat. Grocery shopping right down the street. Great sandy bottom and sandy lake entry with nice gradual slope and shallow water.. Private Fire Ring and Picnic Table. Lakefront is shared with other guests on the property.
NO PETS. No Smoking inside camp, you can smoke outside if you need to.

One half of rental fee is required in advance as a deposit to confirm your reservation.
Deposit is non-refundable. ($35 fee charged for returned checks). We will take payments after deposit is made, payment in full must be complete by your arrival date.
If you are thinking about a summer vacation with us, we will have a waiting list, so BOOK EARLY! Returning guests have priority.
What to Bring: sheets, pillow cases, towels, paper goods (towels, TP, tissues, napkins), soap (hand, dish, & personal), cleaning products, wood for fire pit.

“This is a very cozy, rustic cabin, bare bones, nothing fancy. But it fits the bill if that is what you are looking for. Sleeps 5, it is very close to Fourth Lake- about a 50 foot walk. There are other cabins and cottages in the area- one right next door- so you will see (and hear) others. But they generally keep to themselves, and in our experience were very friendly and considerate. You have full access to the yard, the L-shaped dock and sandy swimming area. There is also a fire ring and ADK chairs and a picnic table and a gas grill for your use. I recommend that you invest in a few oscillating fans, the cabin gets hot during the day and even at night it is warm. Getting to the cabin through the woods can be tricky, the directions are a little iffy. There are other cabin and home properties nearby. The final stretch requires going between two larger houses and straight down a very steep hill. Use caution coming and going. Be sure to go to the CORRECT spot to deposit your trash and recyclables. We were stopped by a worker from an adjoining property and we were told where to go- in a manner of speaking. LOL For the record it is located straight back from the top of the steep hill mentioned earlier. Get to the top of the hill, and it is "almost" straight back- bear a very slight right then an immediate, hard left. There is a dumpster for trash and cans for recycling next to an old run down shed. There are lots and lots of loud powerboats and jets ski's on Fourth Lake all day long. Especially weekends and holidays. Some actually follow the state boating laws and regulations, some do not. The cabin owners were most friendly and accommodating. Do not hesitate to call them if you need anything. The cabin is located between Old Forge and Eagle Bay but is actually a little closer to Eagle Bay. Great location though. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we were fine, would not go with more than that. Enjoy your stay. ”
