“My family and I rented this lake house for my Birthday Weekend in October, the price was fantastic as was the amount of room in the house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is beautiful, we had deer come right up to the back deck in the mornings for coffee, we encountered a small fox in the evening near the driveway. My youngest loves fishing and sat on the dock fishing her heart out. This lake house has all the things you could possibly need and more in it. We needed to bring nothing but food, ourselves and sheets, pillow cases, and towels. The owners made it easy to contact them if we needed anything, which we didn't. It is not a horrible drive to the high peaks either, we did a day trip up to Whiteface Mountain, went to the fall festival there. We will definitely be back in the future. The only downfall I can think of is I wish we had more time off so we could have stayed longer. Thank you for allowing us to use your lake house for a much needed mini vacation.

“We couldnt have asked for a better weekend! This was our second time staying here and we love every part of it! The water is shallow and sandy, no rocks. The beds are comfy and the house comes with the perfect amount of stuff so you dont have to bring everything with you. You are within walking distance to town which is perfect! Updated appliances! Beautiful deck and dock to relax and enjoy Old Forge! We look forward to coming back!”

“I have been going to Old Forge for 30 years (since I was born) and this is BY FAR the best way to experience it! The house is in the most perfect location-beautiful waterfront views with a walk to town. It is isolated enough to where you can enjoy piece and quiet but still be close to everything. The house itself was spotless and very well taken care of. There were plenty pf places to sit and relax both inside and outside. We were able to leave half of our stuff in the car because they have thought of EVERYTHING to stock the house with (plates, bowls, silverware, bottle openers, wine corkscrews, literally everything). I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a true Adirondack experience. Walk into town, enjoy enchanted forest, rent kayaks for the week, you can do it all from this lovely home!”

“Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Moore! This lake house rental was perfect for our week stay. The house was comfortable for all of our family. The dock was great for our boat and whatching and listening to the loons. Its hard to find a place even the teenagers love, but we did. The house has more supplies and necessities than one family could possibly need. If you are looking for a great place to rent that won't break the bank this is the one! Summer 2016 Vacation...successful!”
