“Having rented on Lake George for over 8 years, I wish we found this home years earlier! We are a family of six and the property, house and boat dock are the perfect island getaway on Lake George. The owners go above and beyond making sure you are familiar and comfortable accessing the property, the operation of the house, appliances, TV, wifi and recreational toys. The entire house and guest cabin are extremely clean and functional. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and grilling needs.
The properties location is one of the absolute best on the lake as you have unobstructed views to the north and it is a very convenient boat ride to dining in Bolton Landing, shopping in the Village and just minutes to explore the middle islands.
The boat dock and upper deck are laid out perfect for multiple boats, easy water access, swimming, ample seating and chaise lounges.
We have booked the property again for another week in 2018 and look forward to spending our summer vacation on Elizabeth Island!

“This was a fantastic vacation! As someone who grew up in the upstate area I have to say that the house is located in perhaps the most perfect location on Lake George. Far enough from the village for piece and quiet but an easy boat ride to either Bolton Landing or Lake George Village. The home has everything that you could need for a comfortable family vacation with a relaxing northern view of the lake and passers by. My 27' boat fit under the deck with another 3' to spare and added dock space for visitors. Although we didn't need much attention Diane was available for any questions that we had. We have shared this link with many friends and family and hope to rent this house again. Thank you Diane

“Far exceeded expectations, I can't say enough about this rental, not only is the house beautiful and remarkably clean, it is located in a great spot on the lake and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely look to rent again!”

“Jeez...just a wonderful set up with a 2 story deck above the homes boat dock that extends out into the lake!! A cottage and home with the spare rooms boasting the first Queen sized bunk beds i've ever seen, home in great shape a very well maintained, a great parent and kids destination!!!

“To me, this was a perfect vacation for my family and I. We had a great time and have already reserved for next year. While being on an island certainly creates a little more work moving in and out, believe me, it is all worth it. The house and grounds are very comfortable. It's on a very nice spot on the lake, close to all the restaurants on the lake. If you have your own boat, this is absolute heaven.
The owners are very available and extremely helpful if you should encounter any kind of issue. ”

“Our vacation on Elizabeth Island was perfect!!! This home was very inviting and had just the right amount of rustic charm combined with modern amenities. The property owners were very attentive to ensure our vacation in their beautiful home was the best it could be. Our group consisted of me, my wife, 8 year old son, 9 year old son, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. We were all very comfortable in this home and with the separate cottage we had plenty of privacy as well. Our days consisted of waking up at 6am to wakeboard with the boys then return back for breakfast, gear up for our day on the lake while the boys snorkeled and fished right off the dock. After enjoying the day on the lake it was incredible to just dock right up on the island and keep enjoying the lake in the evening. We spent our evenings on the huge decks overlooking the lake and even caught the fireworks by boat on Thursday evening (that was amazing). There location on the lake is perfect!!! We were able to visit all of the sites the lake had to offer. One day we would head north to Roger's Rock and others we would explore the narrows or head south to the village, but we loved how easy it was to shoot across the lake to all the restaurants in Bolton (it took 10 minutes to go from our dock to the public dock). Our boys said it was the best vacation we ever had and we're looking forward to visiting this beautiful home next year.”

“So I am very hesitant to give this home a review because selfishly I want to keep this secret gem to ourselves! My family just spent the week there and we couldn't have been more pleased with the location, condition of the home, amenities and above all working with the owners (Diane & Bill)! We have been coming to LG for the past 4 years with our sons (ages 10/11) & this year we wanted to stay on one of the islands, so we choose this home. The owners were very helpful prior to arriving explaining everything and I felt very at ease even before we got here. My only recommendation would be is to have your own boat for the week so you can enjoy every aspect of the Lake. We definitely did by visiting Bolton Landing and Lake George Village and even better we didn't drive our car the entire vacation. We cannot wait to return and my family is very thankful we found a new home away from home! Thank you again Diane for letting us be guests in your home. See you soon! ”
