Our Waterfront Cottage on a Private Peninsula (with an amazing 540 ft of waterfront) is available for weekly vacation rental. It is an incredibly private and beautiful place to relax, entertain, go swimming, fishing or boating. Being on the north end of Lake George, it is much quieter and safer with less boat traffic than the south end. So if you enjoy privacy and endless beauty this property has it all !
Enjoy eating breakfast while watching inspiring sunrises as you sit on the back deck direc …tly over the water, and/or enjoy grilled steak on the front deck, watching beautiful sunsets over the water. As you retire for the night, you can listen to the water lapping against the shore, right outside the bedroom windows.
There is really no other property available like this on Lake George. Like us, you will fall in love with it the moment you see it !
There are two bedrooms (one has a fireplace), a living room with a fireplace, 1 and 1/2 baths, a kitchen, and a wonderful 30 foot enclosed porch that has great views of the lake. There is a deck off the back bedroom directly over the water, with another large deck in front of the house that overlooks the lake.
There are two docks; one for swimming and another with a sitting area above it, with stairways leading down to your private dock. There are also several other stairways that lead down to the water; one of them leads to a great swimming area, perfect for younger children (water is only 1 to 2 feet deep at first with a sandy bottom.) At the other end of the peninsula, there is a walkway leading down to the "Point" with a bench and a fire pit and amazing views across the lake to Rogers Rock.
We are just a 5 minute drive to downtown Ticonderoga, less than 10 minutes from Walmarts and 10 minutes from Historic Revolutionary Fort Ticonderoga.
You will have the use of a full size canoe, two adult kayaks and two children's kayaks.

“There is a lovely beach an easy walk down the road - sandy beach great for kids and good lap swimming, perfectly clean water. The rocks at the house were very slippery for water access. . There were motor boats and jet skiis and a marina with rental boats up the lake, but the evenings were very quiet. The house has lake views from the bedrooms and decks on both sides of the house for sun or shade at any time. Very comfortable for reading with good lighting. The fireplaces in the photos are not useable. A good hike about 20 minutes south is Anthony's Nose - but avoid if wet, it would be slippery. Fort Ticonderoga is a close activity; the ferry there across the lake is a kick, then follow Rt 73 (not 74) to the market in Orwell which has excellent sandwiches and homemade lemonade (also excellent)! And a butcher.”

“Property just as described. Quiet peninsula with no neighbors in view! Most properties around the lake are within close quarters to other homes while this place is completely private. Owners were extremely prompt in email replies to our questions prior to the rental as well as return of our security deposit. This is an updated camp. Very neat and clean. Lake facing bedroom is beautiful. Our two labs loved the swimming. Owners dock their boat down the way and we were fortunate to not only meet Doug and the girls but also get invited on a nice boat tour of the Lake! Would love to come back. ”
