“We enjoyed our stay here, it accommodated our teenage needs as well as our under 10 age needs. We loved having access to the kayak and canoe to explore the channel and first lake. The fire pit was used often and a great end to the nights. Morning coffee and chai on the patio enjoying the view was fantastic. The location is great for quick runs into old forge and not bad heading the other direction to Inlet. The only draw back with kids on vacation is the lack of a washer and dryer but the house has every other amenity to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.”

“Our family of 6 including 3 generations stayed at this lovely home in February of 2019 for 2 weeks. The location was perfect for driving to our favorite cross country ski trails in Inlet, Big Moose, and Old Forge. It was very comfortable and quiet. There is an amazing view from the front of the home with a panoramic scene of the channel. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed to make memorable meals and memories. The beds were comfortable, and the place was very clean and easy to keep that way. The children enjoyed the jack-and-jill bathroom upstairs with close access to grandpa and grandma. leaving mom and dad downstairs to get some needed rest. They also enjoyed the deer who peeked in the door one afternoon. Parking was ample. The owners are such nice people to deal with answering all our questions and being very available if anything should come up. They have a binder with all kinds of useful information to facilitate your stay. We all agreed we would stay there again as it met our needs so nicely. A huge thank you to the owners for sharing this wonderful retreat with us!”

“Enjoyed our stay at your house, it was very clean and nicely done, which made it nice when the weather did not cooperate for a couple days for snowmobiling. Great location. The owners are easy to deal with and answer any questions in a very timely matter. Planning on going back.”

“Stayed here for the second year in a row during August this year. The property is very well maintained and has everything you need, including a canoe and a kayak. Very convenient to Old Forge, shopping, restaurants, bars and a public beach. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and the dock and went out on the water a couple of times. Not a big place, but very comfortable and the owners are easy to work with and respond quickly to emails. Would not hesitate to stay again. ”

“We had a wonderful week enjoying this beautiful home. The kitchen is fully equipped with almost anything you can think of. The house is clean and very comfortable. Having Wifi and cable was very convenient. Such touches as Adirondack chairs on both the deck and by the dock, as well as a kayak & canoe are great. The location was great for access to 1st Lake for waterskiing as well as the rest of the Fulton Chain.
As so many older properties in the area are being sold and torn down to make way for large and fancy homes, we so appreciate having this nice home available to rent. The owners are super to deal with and we look forward to renting again.

“A beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. Access to the water and lots of activities and restaurants nearby. This home was spacious and very clean and comfy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The owners provided an easy rental process and were great to work with. ”

“ Just spent a week at this lovely home, with five, long time friends. Our first impression when entering was, "WOW, this is beautiful!" Very clean, attractively decorated in an Adirondack theme, with a beautiful water vista of the Narrows, and access to First Lake, directly across from the house. This gorgeous view can be enjoyed through the very large wall of windows, and also while sitting on the deck. The deck off the dining area is spacious, and a large, private dock is only steps away. Although the weather was less than ideal, we sure made use of them as much as we could... enjoying each other's company, the SUN when it peeked out, and watching all the activity on the water....the boats coming and going and people just having fun!
Furnishings are very comfortable and the house has all the conveniences you will need. Free WiFi was really appreciated! Another great thing was the full size refrigerator! Kitchen is stocked with more than enough plates, bowls, glasses and various utensils. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was great.
This house is close to the main street of Old Forge, without being right in town....very convenient for shopping, dining, the tour boat, and visiting McCauley Mountain, where you can take a ski lift ride to the top to enjoy the scenery...which we did! The water park is only minutes away as is a place to rent kayaks...which some of us also did, enjoying an almost 4 hour trip down the middle branch of the Big Moose River...absolutely beautiful!
We felt the cost of the rental was very on par and quite affordable! This beautiful rental has VERY friendly owners who answered any and all questions we had in a timely manner.
We had a thoroughly memorable and enjoyable week and have already recommended this vacation home-away-from-home to friends who viewed our pictures and are very interested in renting in the future.”

“We just spent a very pleasant week at this property. Home is very comfortable and well furnished. We brought more stuff than we needed because aside from sheets there were pillows, blankets and everything we needed in the kitchen. We spent loads of time on the deck, dock and in front of the fire pit.
Very close to Old Forge without being right in town so convenient to shopping, restaurants, hiking, boating, etc...Swimming right there is not good but close to 2 beaches if that's important to you. Owners were pleasant and easy to deal with, always patient, answering questions and emails very quickly. Would not hesitate to return ourselves or recommend to friends. ”

“We stayed for a weekend this month. Looking forward to coming back this summer. This house is very cozy and clean with a beautiful view. It is right across the street from the channel with access right into first lake. Looking forward to canoeing, kayaking, and boating there this summer. This kitchen is well equipped with anything you will need. The bedrooms are comfortable and it's open for visiting while cooking, eating, or relaxing. Have your breakfast, lunch, or dinner on the patio while relaxing and watching the boats or loons. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here. Very close to local restaurants, shopping, and nightly ice cream outings. ”

“Beautiful house and surroundings. Stayed for the weekend and am anxious to return for a week. We were there in the winter and we are not snowmobilers, but found lots of fun things to do.”
