“My family and I stayed for a week and the cabin was perfect for us. There was 7 of us for the first 3 days and we all fit comfortably downstairs in the living room and kitchen. The cabin is very clean and cozy. The location is great and the dock down by the water was an added bonus. You will love it here! ”

“Great place to stay! We had two couples, a child and still had plenty of room for a guest or two to stay each night. This camp is a perfect location for both the lake and the village of Inlet. It is rare to find any place in the Adirondacks where you can have lake access and a short walk to the town. The pictures do not do the camp justice- it is even nice than it looks! We will definitely be visiting again in 2019. ”

“This house made the whole vacation. Coming from California I wanted a real Adriondack experience. This home was it- everything new and beautiful but with all the charm of the real Adirondack's. Mike was so easy to communicate with and everything was just as stated. We loved sitting out on the porch, walking into the town or lake and the convenience of the first floor bedroom and bath was a plus for one of our family members. Inlet is a great choice for a vacation- big enough to offer everything, and easy drive to Old Forge or Raquette Lake area- yet a small town charm. The home is clean and has all the amenities you would want for a home base in the Adirondack's- Thank you for a perfect vacation!!”

“My Son and I visited for four nights and found the accommodations to be very nice and clean. The House was warm and offered everything we were looking for in a Winter Rental. The location offers a great place to snowmobile from and the Owner was very easy to deal and communicate with, I hope to stay here again and would recommend to everyone. ”

“Our family had a great experience at Deer Watch Lodge! Everything in the camp is clean and modern but still has the adirondack feel. The location is perfect! Close to town which worked great for our family. Would not hesitate at all to rent again next year!”

“My husband and I planned a very last minute escape to the north country from our home near Washington DC. This camp - Deer Watch Lodge - is lovingly renovated and has all the charm of a true Adirondack cabin but with modern conveniences. Owners Mike and Kathleen were very responsive and greeted us at arrival with keys and a tour of camp. First floor master bed + bath makes it great for those who may not want to climb stairs. The home was clean and everything was in working condition. (And we are picky!) The location is superb! We walked to the town of Inlet daily - often more than once. Great, cozy dining options available there in a very pet friendly quaint village near swimming and shopping (if you need it.) We spent every day doing something outdoors...we were only minutes from great spots for hiking, kayaking and horseback riding. In other words, the house is perfectly central to all the great activities one wants to do in the Adirondacks. Home has lake rights and the lake is at the bottom of a steep hill at the back of the property. We spent time every day on the dock enjoying the water and sun. According to the locals, we had the best weather of the entire summer, so luck was definitely on our side! We would love to return and rent again. Deer Watch Lodge was wonderful and we highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little fresh air and R & R away from the city. Hopefully this little gem will be available when we need it again!
