WATERFRONT LODGE ON CLEAN TUPPER LAKE, Tupper Lake (VR9669)

This gorgeous 8 bedroom, 4 bathroom lodge sleeps 16 in beds and has a crib. Our home is 300 feet from our own sandy beach on Tupper Lake which features a large fire pit, a grill and a large lean-to, two kayaks, two canoes and a paddle boat. This lodge has all of the comforts one would want in a vacation:a hot tub, a gourmet kitchen, jacuzzi, radiant heated floors throughout, a home theater, a large great room with a wood-burning fireplace, a sun room, an exercise room, a game room, a children's … play room, very comfortable bedrooms, an expansive deck with a charcoal grill offering amazing views of Tupper Lake and the mountains.

One can walk on our foot path down to our beach or take a vehicle down our back driveway if you want to bring your supplies along. On the lake one can enjoy swimming, paddling, water skiing, fishing and ice skating. Renters have full access to our (2) canoes and (2) kayaks. For rental of more non-motorized boats, Racquette River outfitters is located at 1754 State Rt 30 (tel no 518-359-3228), 1.3 miles from the house. One can rent a small motorized boat at Blue Jay Campsite (515-359-3720) for $80 a day or a larger motorized boat at Saranac Lake Marina (tel no 518-891-9999). Saranac Lake Marina will deliver and pick up a boat for $100 round trip. The Public boat launch is 2.1 miles from the house and one can dock a boat overnight on our very large dock. We do allow renters to use our fishing gear poles.

You can enjoy the Wild Center in any season (tel no 518-359-7800) at 45 Museum Drive, 5.4 miles from the house. You can hike, snow shoe, cross country ski, or snowmobile some of the many trails in our area. Contact the chamber of Commerce of Tupper Lake (tel no 518.359.3328 or http://www.tupperlake.com) for the specifics on those trails. There are cross-country skiing trails in and around Tupper Lake ( http://www.tupperlake.com/activities/tupper-lake-groomed-xc-ski-center), however you will need to provide your own skis. The closest downhill skiing is available at Mt. Pisgah in Saranac Lake (http://mtpisgahadk.com), they are located 37 minutes from our lodge. They have lessons available, as well as tubing. There is a lodge but there are no rentals available. A bit further out is Titus Mountain (http://www.titusmountain.com/directions.html), they are located 1 hr 6 min from our lodge. They offer ski rentals, dining, and are a full service ski area.

Tupper Lake is a 20 minute drive to Saranac Lake and a 40 minute drive to Lake Placid.

Standard Rate: $950 per night Sunday through Thursday, $1100 Friday & Saturday, $6800 per week, 2 night minimum.
All Federal Holiday Weekends: $1200 per night, 3 night minimum.

Housekeeping fee is $450 and we have to charge 5% of the rental rate for bed tax.

Cleaning Policy: Housekeeping will clean between rentals. We expect renters to remove used linens from beds and leave with used towels at foot of bed, to leave all garbage in the garbage shed near our garage and to leave the house in good order.

Linen Policy: We provide all linens, bath towels, separate hot tub towels and separate beach towels.

Security Deposit Information: Security deposit is $1500 when boats are accessed and $1000 in months when boats cannot be used.

About Us: The Adirondacks is one of our favorite places in the world. We love to hike, swim, boat and just relax in this rich and beautiful region.

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Tupper Lake: Our house has all the amenities one may want for a lake/mountain get away. But if you wish, you can venture out and ski, hike, swim, see the Wild Center or enjoy the fresh brews and food in town.

Why our property is special: This property enjoys lake and mountain views and lakefront rights with a clean, private, sandy beach. Tupper Lake is excellent for fishing and boating. Local hiking trails offer magnificent views of the region. Winter offers down hill and cross country skiing as well as snow shoeing and ice skating. The Tupper Lake Country Club is a local favorite for sledding and has groomed cross country trails.
