SEVENTH LAKE WATERFRONT COTTAGE, Inlet (VR9741)

Fiddlehead Cottage is currently booking for the 2024 summer season. Summer season rentals on a weekly basis. Cozy two-bedroom, one bath Adirondack cottage on a private road. Sleeps four. Cottage features a large open kitchen with wood stove and beautiful view of the lake. Large porch and deck overlooking the lake and accessible from the kitchen and living room. Cottage has 60 feet of private lake front with a dock on the quiet north shore of Seventh Lake. New drilled well and septic system. The …cottage is only 2 miles from the full-featured vacation village of Inlet with several shops, restaurants, grocery store and two parks. Cottage includes WIFI and cable TV.

There are a few steps from the driveway to the cottage, thus the cottage is not handicapped accessible.

Dogs may be permitted with prior approval.

Mattress covers, pillow covers, blankets and comforter provided for each bed. Guests need to provide their own linens, bathroom towels, and wash cloths.

No smoking in the cottage or on the porch/deck areas. Guests are expected to take care to not litter the grounds.

There will be a $300 security deposit to be included with the rental fee. It will be fully refunded once we have determined that the property was left clean and undamaged.

Pet Policy: Dogs may be accepted on a pre-approval basis. Generally limited to one to two well trained and well behaved dogs.

Smoking Policy: No smoking in the cottage or on the porch/deck areas.Guests are expected to take care to not litter the grounds.

Cleaning Policy: As we commit to provide a clean cottage for each guest's arrival, there is an expectation that the guests will leave the cottage clean like they found it in preparation for the next guests. This includes vacuumed, mopped, and bathroom cleaned. If the cottage requires significant time and expense to clean ahead of the next guest, then we reserve the right to charge a $100 service fee deducted from the deposit.

About Us: We have lived in Vermont and northern New York for all of our lives. We purchased our current home on Seventh Lake in 2012 and live here full time upon our retirement at the end of 2017. The Fiddlehead Cottage listing next door to our home was purchased in January 2018. We are excited to be able to offer it as a private listing.

Why our property is special: Having direct access to your own private waterfront and dock on Seventh Lake is pretty special. This property also has very good privacy. And we are nearby to help whenever necessary. We think the property is ideal for mature couples vacationing together, or for single families.
