2-story seasonal cabin on Lake Harris in Newcomb, New York. Parking for several vehicles. Has private beach and dock. Grassy approach to beach. Sunset view over lake. Sleeps 4 upstairs (2 twin beds in a closed-off bedroom, 1 Queen-sized bed located in a L-shaped upstairs room that also serves as upstairs living/recreational room that has access to the upstairs deck. Futon is available for additional guests. Pillows and blankets are provided; linen rental is extra charge. Downstairs has kitchen a …nd dining area, and cabin front door opens to covered (by upstairs deck) porch. There are 2 Bathrooms - upstairs and downstairs, that both have shower, sink, and toilet. Downstairs kitchen has refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, crock-pot, and electric stove, and is equipped with pots and pans, plates, and eating utensils. Small charcoal grill and small propane (screw-on green Coleman tanks) grill provided as well as grilling tools. Renters to bring own charcoal, lighter fluid, and/or propane tanks. 4 kayaks provided as well as a single plastic 2-person dingy rowboat and 4 adult bicycles. Life jackets are provided. Wi-Fi (but no telephone) service is provided (Town is Verizon wireless compatible). Cabin has a window air conditioner for bedroom, several fans, and a portable DVD playing device with a few DVD movies and board games for rainy days. Large screen is available, but renters must bring own HDMI cable. There is a small library of books, including many books specific to Adirondack and Newcomb history.

Rates

The rental is $1200 per week or $180 a night (3 night minimum stay). Does not include a mandatory 5% occupancy or "bed tax" as required by Essex County, which will be an additional charge.

Pet Policy: Only housebroken dogs allowed, maximum 2. Unaccompanied dogs are not allowed upstairs. Dogs are to be caged during sleeping hours and also when left alone in cabin. All dog hair and dog waste must be removed by renters prior to departure. Urine accidents must be cleaned up as well. Additional security fee of $100 required of all renters bringing dogs, said security deposit is refundable after inspection after check-out.
Smoking Policy: No smoking inside of cabin. All cigarette butts and other smoking debris must be removed from premises prior to renters' departure.
Cleaning Policy: No housekeeping service. Vacuum cleaner, broom, and Swiffer available. Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, dish soap, & hand soap provided. Cabin is cleaned prior to renters arrival. Renters to immediately state upon check-in if additional cleaning is required. Renters to leave premises upon departure in as clean shape (or cleaner) as when they arrived. No maid service while renters are occupying premises. Renters to call landlord at 518-588-1094 if they request a trash pick-up. Large kitchen trash bags and small trash bags are provided. Renters to clean propane and/or charcoal grill (if used) prior to departure. Recycle bin provided for clean (rinsed out) glass, clean tin cans, clean #1 and #2 plastics, clean paper, and 5 cent returnable beverage containers.
Linen Policy: While there are linens on premises, renters typically bring own sheets, linens, washcloths, pillowcases, and towels. Renters incur an additional $40 linen charge if any items are used from cabin inventory.
Security Deposit Information: 50% of total rental fee is due upon signing of Rental Agreement to secure the reservation (plus whatever additional security deposit for pets - refundable after inspection after check-out)( and/or linen rentals). The 50% security deposit becomes non-refundable 30 days prior to the check-in date.
