Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 2-minute drive from the chalet. Close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, and so much more!

“Marble Mountain is a beautiful getaway retreat that offered me and my family a much needed relaxing vacation. The house is spitting distance from great skiing at Whiteface and has an incredible view of it from the hot-tub (which we enjoyed after the mountain took its toll on our muscles). A modern house with many great amenities made this trip a great success. Thanks, Todd and Kimmy!”

“Wow! What a beautiful house! The proximity to Whiteface was very convenient for our enjoyment of skiing and riding. The town of Lake Placid is really close-by for going out for the evening and checking out the shops. Also, the house is walking distance to a really cool nature preserve (replete with wolves, a coyote, foxes, a bobcat, and a variety of birds). My highlights: I felt like I was in a luxurious tree-house, our heavenly hot-tub under the stars and a light snow-fall, the awesome fire-pit and Adirondack chair circle, super comfortable beds, big modern bathrooms (and two types of saunas!), and a fabulous and wide-open common space for us all to enjoy each others company. What fun! I hope to stay here again soon! Thanks!!! ”

“The Marble Mountain Chalet is just beautiful. The marble counter-top is the focal point of a very well appointed kitchen. The house has a wonderful hot tub on the deck that is great for star-gazing and relaxing after skiing. The outdoor speakers added soothing mood music to a wonderful evening. The steam shower and sauna were also fun to use as well. Beds are extremely comfortable and we all slept great. We really enjoyed the prime location (so close to Whiteface Mountain). The house is also walking distance from Adirondack wildlife and refuge center. We enjoyed our visit there and the caring staff. Overall the house is warm and inviting and rates a definite 5 out of 5 stars! ”

We are so happy with the floor plan of Marble Mountain Chalet and all of the things we built in to the home that we decided to put new Finlandian Saunas in the other 2 homes so now all 3 of the homes have both wet steam & dry heat saunas.
