About Us: From NYC and Long Island we have been seasonal renters in the area for almost 20 years. After a few years of searching we found this to be a great location and accommodating to our large family gatherings, a true home away from home!

Why our property is special: Recently purchased home; we created it with love and concern. This is not just a vacation rental home it's our vacation home. Throughout you will find cleanliness, many upgrades, and a large open floor plan with a good flow. This home comfortable holds many family members and astonishes everyone who discovers it. Short easy walk to sixth lake access, a healthy walk to the village of Inlet and ride up the road to clean beach access. Its location is prime for snowmobilers with/without WEBB permit

“Hi, We stayed at the Inlet House the first week of August. From the start Jon and Emanuela were so very easy to deal with. They responded to any questions or concerns right away. As far as the house is concerned, the pictures don't really do it justice. It was large, clean and comfortable. We were surprised at just how much room it has. As well as the many provided amenities. It was a pleasure dealing with people who were so helpful and courteous with every exchange. Will definitely look to return! A.Ando ”

“My family had the most wonderful stay. The house was very clean and even had somewhere supplies left from previous renters which was a nice surprise. The in house washer and dryer were very nice and the board game supply was a great addition to the supply we brought to have some variety during the rainy days. We would definitely recommend staying here. Some beds were a bit hard, but that can be solved by bringing a mattress pad/cover or putting a blanket down under the fitted sheet. The stock of cleaning supplies was also great. The fenced in dog area is smallish but that didnt bother our dog. She also loved the house as well. We are looking forward to making arrangements to stay again for sure!”

“We rented The Inlet house for our son's wedding. It is cozy, yet there was plenty of room for my family,my sister and her husband and my in laws. (11 people and our 3 dogs) Everyone who walked in said "Wow!!! This place is nice!" The fenced in dog run was very convenient and the house is very clean. My 20 something kids loved the jukebox and popcorn machine! The owners are very friendly, responsive and accommodating. (We had a light bulb out, and they came immediately with a new one.) We are already talking about renting the house again sometime! Loved it!”

“The Inlet House was perfect for our family of 6. Everyone enjoyed their own bedrooms and the kitchen is wonderfully large for dining, jigsaws, and games. The back deck was a great spot for gathering and star gazing, and the back yard was spacious for campfires. The owners were more than accommodating. Because of the free internet connection, our daughters were able to work from home during our 16-day stay. Thank you so much!”

“The Inlet House was perfect for our mini family vacation. There was plenty to do within walking distance (if you don't mind a short hike). There were plenty of beds, and the living areas were large. The house was clean and included everything we needed. The owners responded quickly to all of my questions, and we received our deposit back shortly after our stay. I would definitely go back.”

“The Inlet House is down a quiet street, but still close to lots of activity. It was a perfect location, as our family wanted to spend time at Raquette Lake which was only a few minutes away. The house was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay. Just an FYI - cellular service is rare in Inlet - which is, of course, not the Inlet House owners' fault AT ALL! There was complimentary WiFi at the house which was excellent and perfect for connecting to real life when necessary. Other than that, we enjoyed the "disconnect" of mountain life! We would highly recommend this charming home for family vacations!”

“The Inlet house is wonderful! This is our second year in a row renting it and we plan on continuing to rent it. Jon and Emanuela are awesome to deal with. They made some really nice improvements to the house also, a beautiful new countertop and sink in the kitchen, to name a few. We always have such a good time in the Inlet and Old Forge area. ”

“The Inlet house was perfect for our 2 families that stayed there in July 2019. There were enough bedrooms for the kids of all ages and enough space that we didn't feel on top of each other. The house was fully equipped and perfect parking for our trailer and 2 large trucks. Great location, would definitely stay there again. Jon and Emanuel were super responsive and easy to work with.”

“They saved our vacation by renting to us last minute literally. While we were driving up to the region, the other rental we had booked had a scheduling error and double booked us with another person. We were able to find this rental and book while driving up to Inlet! They were the nicest owners to book with and the house was amazing. The house had everything we needed. Lots of space in the kitchen which was well stocked for cooking and the living room was huge, there was also a washer/dryer in the downstairs laundry/bathroom area. We rented during the Labor Day weekend. There are a lot of things to do in the area, we enjoyed hiking, going to the lake, walking around town. Also we drove to nearby towns of blue mountain and old forge. Even though this house was way bigger than we needed, there were only two of us with a dog. We will definitely rent again from these owners in the future with more people!”

“We had a lovely stay at Inlet House. The layout is accommodating to large groups and there is something for everyone, rain or shine. We enjoyed the woodburning fireplace, games, movies, grill, the big kitchen table, and the small fenced in dog area connected to the back deck. Inlet and Old Forge are nearby with a selection of restaurants. We would happily visit again.”

“The Inlet House is a lovely,well appointed house. Our family has been coming to Inlet every August for 50 yrs. We have grown such that we need another cottage/house. We were very pleased to find The Inlet House. It comfortably allowed for seven people. The owners, were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The house was a home away from home. It is not easy to find a place that will accept pets.The owners welcomed our small back lab who was allowed to be free in their fenced dog run. The house is conveniently located. The golfers in our family needed only to walk across the street to the get a round of golf in and could walk to Inlet and Arrowhead Park where the "rest of the crew" was staying. Evening around the spacious camp fire area were great! Staying at the Inlet House helped made our very special annual 50 yr tradition even more special!! Thank you!!!”

“This was our first time staying at The Inlet House, and we had a great experience. Very cozy and spacious- never felt like we were in each other's way. We have stayed in other cottages around Inlet and this one seemed to accomodate us the best! It was also nice to have the option to have a fire out back, too. We come the same week every year and if it's available, it will be nice to return to The Inlet House! Thanks for sharing your place with all of us!!”

“Amazing. Our stay at the Inlet House was nothing short of exactly that. After 21 years of visiting the ADK's, hands down, this was our best year yet. The amenities included in the stay are exactly what is required for a week long stay such as ours. The home is kept in immaculate condition with top notch living accommodations for all. I highly recommend this home to anyone, especially people who enjoy the view of a beautiful golf course every morning you wake up! “My family stayed at this stunning 5 bedroom home located in Inlet NY, located in a very quiet neighborhood, March 2017. Beautiful bedrooms along with a spacious full kitchen and den. My family consisted of 8 adults, 2 teenage children and an infant. Fun family times as we gathered around the large kitchen table suitable for 10 for meals. The family had exceptional evening gatherings in the den around the fireplace. Very scenic, amenities are perfect, including a great backyard. Our fun days include a visit to Gore Mountain which was amazing. Snowmobiling trails right outside house are amazing. Love Love this place, owner is great to work with and will definitely be visiting this house in the fall of 2017. ”

“My family and I loved staying at the Inlet House! It's spacious, clean and very comfortable. The owners allowed us to bring our small dog for an extra fee so we were very pleased. We loved the location as it's located on snowmobile trails and just an hour drive from Gore Mountain! For winter sports enthusiasts and family oriented folks like us, it really was a great! We hope to be back and stay at the Inlet House again. ”
